marzipan twister 

Homemade marzipan.

200g almonds (you can buy to the already grinning almonds)
200g sugar
1 egg white

Grind the almonds to a fine consistency and add the sugar and egg whites. 

Mix together as you would for regular dough. 

Roll it out into a 5mm thick layer.

You will need 4 x100g pieces of puff pastry approximately 11 x 19 cm (see picture or video below)

Lay them flat on the table and brush eggs both side.

Roll out 2x100g of marzipan to the same thickness as the dough and align it

Place on top of dough. 

Cut out slices about 2-3 cm wide and 15- 19 cm long.

Twist them twice as shown in the video.

Place them on baking paper and brush egg again . Garnish with slivered almonds or seeds, if desired. 

Set the air fryer to 180 C and bake for 18 to 20 minutes. (Different air fryer has a different power air circulation then use different time.)
