We make Dumplings 我们包饺子

Ingredients:

Dumpling wrap (see picture below)

400 grams of minced Lamb (you can use biff or pork meat too)
3 smaller carrot
1/2 leek
Ginger fine chopped
White pepper
Salt
1 Egg
1 tbs Soya sauce
1 tbs Vegetable oil
1 tbs Sesame oil
5 spice mix if you have (found in all Asian stores)

How we did it:
Cut leek into fine small pieces
Cut carrots in to small sticks, and pouch them for 1 minute and let cool off.

Add spices like the white pepper, sesame oil, fine chopped leek and ginger into the minced meat.

Cut the carrots into small cubes and add in.

Make Oil sauce  (you can leave this part out if you don’t have or can’t find sichuan pepper.)

1 tbs Sichuan pepper/ 四川花椒 (is used to add spice to the oil – please refer to video)

1/2 dl vegetable oil

Warm it up so it’s hot and then pour it over the meat.

Blend it all together carefully with a spoon

Add one egg and blend again.

Your filling is now ready.

Follow the instructions in the video on how to fold the pastry.

Put the dumplings in boiling water and when they float the are done. Around 5 to 8 minutes.

Hope you will have a great meal 🍽️
