Udon noodles 乌冬面 the easy way

Today we make our own versions of Udon Noodle soup.

It easy, fast and very delicious, specially on a cold winter day.

We did most of the chopping in our local Asian store.

We also show you how to make a basic Asian stew meat as an alternative serving.

Test it out, its easy and very tasty.

Ingredients:
1pk udon noodle we use fresh cooked noodles around 200gram
Light soya sauce
Dark soya sauce
Bok choy 🥬 one pr portions
White Shimaji mushrooms
Mirin (see picture below)
Korean BBQ sauce

We use two types of meat
1pk of sliced beef  150gram
Or as we show in the video you can use your own homemade Stewed pork meat – around 150 gram

Let’s start

Fry the sliced beef meat and at the end of the cooking add a tablespoon or two of Korean BBQ sauce. You can also use teriyaki if you prefer that taste.

Make the soup base:

1 tbs Mirin
2 tbs Light soya sauce
Fresh chopped spring onion

If you bought fresh or cooked udon noodle heat them up before you add them to the soup.

Porch the Bok choy salad and White Shimaji mushrooms for 1 minute.

Add the Bok choy and shimaji mushrooms on top of your soup, and then some meat slices, either the homemade stewed pork meat or the sliced beef.

We hope you will enjoy the soup and wish you some cozy and happy time in your kitchen.
