Beef Stew in Tomato Sauce

Beef stew in tomato sauce

800g beef
carrot
Tomato sauce
Crushed Tomato
Fresh whole tomatoes
Potato
Chives
Onion cubes
Ginger
star anise
sugar
Salt
Whole black pepper
Bay Leaves

The amount of seasoning you want will depend on the amount of beef you have.

First, blanch the beef in cold water, add the seasoning (see video) and skim off the foam immediately. You should also repeatedly add cold water to the pot to clean the beef.

Fry tomatoes, celery, onions, ginger slices, carrots, bay leaves, etc. Add tomato sauce and chopped tomatoes into the pot and stir-fry evenly. Put the beef cubes into the pot, add 1 liter of hot water and simmer for one and a half hours. (You can use a rice cooker to simmer for 30 minutes. This way the soup will become mellow, thick and rich.

Finally, add potato cubes and fresh tomatoes. When combined with the beef, they will create a special aroma that will make you reluctant to put down your chopsticks!

Try cooking this yourself – this homemade beef stew in tomato sauce is amazing!
