Mackerel in Tomato Sauce. 茄汁鯖魚

It is not difficult to make mackerel in tomato sauce. The recipe shared today is to cook mackerel in tomato sauce as a side dish. It is super simple to make.

 Ingredients for Western-style mackerel in tomato sauce:

 2 mackerel

 Red tomato juice 400ml

 A little sugar

 1/2 tsp salt

 pepper

 100g small chives

 10g garlic slices

 1-2 tablespoons olive oil

 Ingredients for Chinese Mackerel in Tomato Sauce:

 2 mackerel

 Red tomato juice 400ml

 A little sugar

 1/2 tsp salt

 1 tablespoon rice wine or beer (lemon)

 20g green onions

 5 grams of ginger slices

 a little white pepper

 1-2 tablespoons oil

 How to make mackerel in tomato sauce:

 1. 2 pieces of mackerel in tomato sauce, ginger and green onion cut into sections

 2. Add a little oil to the pan and sauté the ginger, green onion, garlic slices and star anise.  You can reuse a pan or a small soup pot here)

 3. Add about 400ml of tomato juice and seasonings, simmer for about 8 minutes, and continue cooking for 5-10 minutes to complete the mackerel in tomato sauce.

1-2匙油

茄汁鯖魚的做法:

  1. 2条鯖魚番茄汁、薑蔥切段
  2. 平底鍋加少許的油,油炒薑蔥段、蒜片、八角茴香。這邊可續用平底鍋,或是小湯鍋)
  3. 加入400ml左右番茄汁與調味料,燜煮約8,續煮5-10分即完成茄汁鯖魚。
